BARTOSZ MILEWSKI?

Bartosz Milewski (born 1975) graduated from Cornish College of The Arts in Seattle, USA in 2001 (BFA in painting and videography) and Fine Arts Academy in Cracov, Poland: Masters in Painting (2008), Doctorate in Painting (2012).

He mainly paints and draws. Constant practice and self discipline result in some one thousand sketches per year, as well as, painterly works and illustrations.

Dr Milewski has also worked with various aspects of photography and even managed to create an independent film. The love for cinema, camera work, and, supposedly, a good „cinematic eye” has resulted in creating video forms, many of which can be seen on youtube under bartoszmilewski631. Among them is an ongoing series „Artistic Workout” devoted to painting and drawing styles and techniques.

A passionate teacher and university lecturer, aside from painting and drawing, he had also conducted classes in photography, film and creative writing.

The later has been a reoccurring interest, formerly resulting in being an editor in chief of two niche magazines: „Helikopter” and „Regres”. 

He co-founded The Provincial Artists Group and exhibited in many gallery shows. He also created commercial graphics, both in traditional and computer media.

Noteworthy hobbies, past and present, include: singing, playing drums and reading science magazines. 

He curently lives in Warsaw, Poland.
